Former finance minister P Chidambaram addressed demonetization as a “absurd thoughtless move” . When reporters asked them about “courageous and economic substantive economic reform that, despite the significant transition costs that has potential to generate large future benefits”.
There were arguments by Chidambaram on the Modi policy 'demonetization'. He point out all the announcement given by PM Modi about the deadlines of cash exchange, restrictions of transaction and decision to discontinue Rs. 1000 note and leaking out Rs.2000 note.
P. chidambaram also supported congress party , he told that PM Modi should come and speak on the issue. There may not be any reason behind not handling the topic.
“ Black money hoarders find ways to divide their hoard into smaller pieces. You find that people who haven't thought of a way to convert black to white, throw it into the hundi in some temples. I think there are ways around demonetization. It is not that easy to flush out the black money.” we are well known to the raid on black money holders and similarly to the issue- “no cash available in the banks”
