Shimla: Initial investigation of vigilance has been completed against the Jairam government's minister under tensions in the land purchase case, in which several loopholes have been revealed. It has been found in the investigation that all the government rules for the purchase of land were contracted, defying it. According to the Himachal Pradesh Ceiling on Land Holding Act of 1971, regarding landholding in the state, a family cannot have more than 150 bighas of land in a common area.

Different land holdings have been approved on the basis of many standards. Vigilance has completed and handed over to the government, now the ball is in the government's court. According to sources, in the test, the minister has confirmed that he has land more than the approved land. In registering crores of land in the name of relatives, the government has incurred huge financial loss.

The government has lost revenue due to the stamp duty and registration fees incurred due to the stamp act. After the facts revealed in the investigation of the bureau, the government is now engaged in brainstorming. Since the government is likely to face difficulties in the upcoming monsoon session due to regular investigation of Vigilance and not the FIR, it is believed that the government may take a decision on the minister before the session.
