South Star Vijay Deverakona who is currently promoting his upcoming fil on Liger has reacted to the Boycott trend and said, “Log iss film ko Boycott Kar rahe he Me kisi se Darta Nahi Hum kisi se Darte Nahi'(People are boycotting this film, I am not afraid of anyone. We have no fear)

The actor further stated the reason and said, “ We have worked hard day and night to make this film, you don't need to listen to anyone when you are right. According to him, they all belong to this country and they know how much they do for their people and country. Vijay also said that he is not from the batch who tweet while sitting in front of a computer.”

Amid the Boycott Trend earlier Vijay shared a cryptic tweet read, "Manam Correct unnapudu.Mana Dharmam manam chesinapudu. Evvadi maata vinedhe ledu. Kotladudham. (When we are doing as per dharma, there is no need to care about others, We'll fight back.)"

Earlier the actor also opened up on Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha Trend and said, "Three years back, in 2019 we started this film. Back then, this ‘boycott of Bollywood’ wasn’t there. All this started in the lockdown and we were already into the shooting schedules by that time. At that time, we felt like there was no better option than Karan (Johar) sir to take our movie India-wide."

The actor further speaking about this said "I don’t know exactly what is their (online trolls) issue and what they want. We are correct on our side. " He gave examples of different stars and their different birthplaces such as he was born in Hyderabad, Charmme was born in Punjab. He mentioned that they have worked hard for three years to make this cinema. "Shouldn’t we release our movies? Should we sit in homes?"
