A British court has given a decision in favour of the consortium of 13 Indian banks, jolting Vijay Mallya. Under this decision, the UK High Court's Enforcement Officer has been allowed to enter Vijay Mallya property in London.

This order allows the officer and his colleagues to enter Ladywalk and Bramble Lodge in Tavin. Vijay Mallya currently lives here. Banks can use this order as an option to recover a huge amount of about 1.145 billion pounds.

The court sent Vijay Mallya a notice, if he is not present there, a strict action will be taken. In the order of Justice Byron's June 26 order, the High Court enforcement officer and the agents working under them to find and control the goods connected with Ladywalk, Queen Hu Lane, Tavin, Wellwin and Bramble Lodge.

High Court enforcement officers and agents working under them can also use force to enter the property when needed. Mallya is accused of fraud and money laundering of Rs 9,000 crore in debt with banks and he is opposing the application filed by Indian agencies to hand over to India.
