Kanpur: Jai Bajpai's wife Shweta Bajpai has come forward in the Durdant criminal Vikas Dubey case of Kanpur. She says that my husband is being forced. She did not commit any wrongdoing. Our family is being implicated in this case. My husband has nothing to do with this case. Police has done all the CCTV checks. My husband was still at home, yet he was criminalized.
SIT, which is investigating the Bikeru case, has sought details of the properties of Jai Bajpai, the treasurer of Gangster Vikas Dubey and ten people related to it. In a letter sent to the District Administration, it is asked where his properties are, and how much it worth. The SIT has also sought information, including whether the properties were illegally captured or bought in some other way.
The District Administration has given the responsibility of preparing and submitting the report to the Registry Department. The registry department will also have to find out if Jai and his people have purchased the property, then the stamps imposed are according to the actual condition of the property or it has been sold. The Benami wing of the Income Tax Department has started the investigation of the property of the newly fledged billionaire Jai Bajpai of the city, who came to the STF on charges of providing assistance to Vikas Dubey. The investigation of the same case is going on continuously.
