Kamaal R Khan, always be in the lime light for his controversial statement, this time landed in a legal soup after filmmaker Vikram Bhatt filed a defamation case against him.

As per the reports the matters came in light when the Deshdrohi actor accused the film director of trying to "supply Meera Chopra to a well-known producer," after which, Vikram sent a criminal defamation notice to KRK alleging that he has been circulating false and derogatory stories.

Then,as usual Kamaal took to his Twitter to post numbers to tweets, which read as:

“I just want to inform Mr. Vikram Bhatt that Meera Chopra herself told me the whole story. I didn't say anything from my side in that review”.

“According to Vikram Bhatt, this is his defamation n it's enough reason to put me Jail. Lol! Unpadh. Gawaar”

“If it's really crime then no critic can criticise any film. It's proof that Vikram Bhatt has become crazy in Budhapa”

“lol! If this truth is defamation for frustrated n flop director Vikram Bhatt then I m ready to go to jail for 100Yrs”

“Can all the critics reply to frustrate Vikram Bhatt that why do they review his crap films without his permission?”

“I am the only critic in the world who got defamation notice from a film maker n this is the proof of my Dahshat in the Bollywood today”

On the other side,Vikram’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee said, “"I had already served a Criminal Notice on Mr. Kamal Rashid Khan for and on behalf of Mr. Vikram Bhatt, and he was required to respond to the same within 7 days."

He added saying, "The said 7 days got over yesterday and it is obvious that he does not have any reply or justification for his criminal acts. Instead, he has chosen to blatantly continue his criminal acts showing complete disregard to the Laws laid down by the Statute, and even had the audacity to outrage the modesty of my other client Ms. Meera Chopra."
