The debate over the drug connection in the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death has been increasing. Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has raised the issue of drugs in full swing. Since then, there have been a variety of truths about drugs in Bollywood. Meanwhile, filmmaker and producer Vikram Bhatt has also made comments about the ongoing drugs debate in Bollywood. According to Vikram Bhatt, he too has heard a lot about drugs in big Bollywood parties. But, never got to see anything.
Talking to media, Vikram Bhatt said, "I have been to many big parties, but have never gone to a party where someone has taken drugs. Someone ever told me that in some parties different kinds of drugs are offered. Drugs are decorated and served in trays. Guests choose and consume drugs from their choice. But, I myself have never seen anything like that," Vikram Bhatt said, adding that his daughter Krishna also agreed that he had heard about drug abuse at parties, but he himself never consumed drugs or did anyone see it. According to Vikram Bhatt, drugs are not a big deal for Bollywood as an industry. These days, people are trying to catch celebrities who live in discussions.
Says Vikram Bhatt: "I am not saying that drugs are not consumed in the industry. But, it is happening all over the world, so it is going to happen in Bollywood also. It seems childish to say that drugs are special for Bollywood." He further asks, "Is NCB is made only for Bollywood or the film industry?."
