Mumbai, September 5: The upcoming thriller "Sector 36" released its gripping trailer, and actor Vikrant Massey opened up about the challenges of portraying a chilling yet ordinary-seeming killer in the film.

Vikrant shared his thoughts on playing Prem, saying, "Stepping into the character of Prem for this film was a unique experience. It was difficult to convincingly portray a killer with layers, someone who could easily blend in with anyone else."

He also praised the director, stating, "Aditya has done an exceptional job of creating a gritty and immersive world. This is an important film, and along with the production team, we hope viewers will appreciate the need to tell stories like these."

The trailer showcases a tense storyline, where inspector Ram Charan Pandey, played by Deepak Dobriyal, relentlessly pursues a serial killer despite warnings to stop. With the fate of missing children at stake, Ram is on the hunt for the mysterious Prem Singh, played by Vikrant Massey, who hides in plain sight.

Directed by debutant Aditya Nimbalkar, "Sector 36" is inspired by true events. Deepak Dobriyal expressed his excitement about the film, saying, "I was drawn to the script from the start. It’s a powerful thriller that highlights issues like class disparity and the unchecked spread of crime."

Deepak further added, "My character brings a sense of investigative urgency, making it an intense experience for the audience as they follow the dynamic between the hunter and the hunted."

"Sector 36" is set to premiere on a streaming platform on September 13.

Vikrant Massey, who began his career in television, made his mark in films with his 2013 debut. Meanwhile, Deepak Dobriyal is well-known for his roles in popular films, which have earned him critical acclaim over the years.
