Rewa: Several shocking incidents are taking place in Madhya Pradesh these days. Here, day by day, there are cases of shame to humanity. You must have seen pictures of human cruelty from many districts of the state by now. The list includes Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and Neemuch where iniquity is being committed in the name of religion. Now, the case that has come to light is that of Rewa. A youth (Mohammad Asad Khan) has been brutally beaten up for battery theft here.

In this case, it is being reported that the victim is being kicked and belted by several people at the same time and the youth is pleading not to lie down on the ground, then people are beating him and there were many people who are making videos of him by crowding. Meanwhile, no one seemed to be trying to save the youth. The incident is said to be from Transport Nagar in the civil line police station area of the city. The video of the youth being beaten up is now going viral on social media. Police swung into action after the video went viral and arrested two accused.

The search is on for the remaining accused. Congress has questioned the law and order situation in the state over such incidents which are constantly coming to light from different districts of the state these days. Recently, former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh have hit out at the Chief Minister expressing deep anguish over such incidents. He has written: 'This incident is of Rewa. Isn't that the Taliban culture?'
