Virat Kohli after his magnificent hundred come against New Zealand, but couldn’t help India to pick up the win over the visitor as the bowler is not satisfied. India vs New Zealand first ODI is important for skipper as his 200th ODI appearance for India. Kohli gets a single and brings up his 31st century. As the skipper, Virat Kohli scores 121 runs. After a magnificent inning in the last match, Kohli reaches to the total of 8,888 runs in his ODI career. He is short of 112 runs to reach 9000 ODI runs. He goes past Australian legend Ricky Ponting and now only has ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar ahead of him who had scored 49 ODI centuries. Virat Kohli scored his 30th ODI hundred in Colombo in the fifth and final ODI against Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli didn’t score any century against Australia but  Kohli came in to bat after the dismissal of Ajinkya Rahane. He got to three figures in 107 balls. With this, he also equals former Australia captain Ricky Ponting’s record for second most ODI hundreds but now he break Ricky Ponting record now only master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of him with 18 to equal, leads the charts with 49 tons.
