New Delhi: Virat Kohli, the captain of TM India, has made another big record in the world of cricket. He is known as Run Machine, along with he is also a record maker breaker. Kohli has become the fastest batsman to score 12 thousand runs in one day cricket. He has done this feat in his 251st ODI match. With this record, he left behind many legendary batsmen.

Virat Kohli completed his 12 thousand runs in 242 innings, while Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar did this feat in 300 innings. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting in 314 innings, former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara in 336, Sri Lankan storm batsman Sanath Jayasuriya in 379, Mahela Jayawardene had completed his 12000 runs in 399 innings. Kohli has also become the 8th batsman to play the 250th match for India, while he is the first batsman to complete the fastest 22 thousand runs in cricket.

Kohli is the only batsman who has scored the fastest runs from 16 to 22 thousand in addition to the fastest 10 thousand, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 thousand. He also completed 2 thousand in One Day cricket against Australia. He became India's third player in this list and became the fifth player in the world.
