Virat kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has won its second match in the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) by Rajasthan Royals. Banglore defeated Kolkata by 10 runs at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Captain Kohli stole the limelight with his sensational century while Moeen Ali smashed 66 runs.RCB’s  star man AB de Villiers was missing the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) due to an injury. But when RCB had their backs to the wall, skipper Virat Kohli stepped up.

In a must-win match, Virat scored a magnificent hundred off 58 balls to take RCB to 213 in 50 overs.  His innings of a hundred was laced with 9 fours and 4 sixes as he smashed the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers all over the park. After this maginificant Skipper revelead ABD that he will score a century.

Kohli revealed that before leaving the team hotel in Kolkata, he had promised de Villiers that he would score a hundred for him as RCB in a must-win encounter against KKR at the Eden Gardens.  Kohli said, "Before leaving, I told AB I will get a hundred for you, so he must be pretty happy.” AB de Villiers also congratulated Kohli for his sensational ton and tweeted minutes after his innings at the Eden Gardens.
