Irrfan Khan, who left his indelible mark in Bollywood, passed away yesterday. After his death, there are many people who are still in shock. National Award-winning filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has expressed grief over his death. He had worked with the late Irrfan Khan many times.

On the death of the actor, he says, "Irrfan's sudden demise has broken him." Recently, Vishal said in a conversation with a website, "I was afraid that he was long before his time. We will leave and go, but I did not expect that it would be so destructive and so painful for me personally. It seems like I am divided into two. A part of me died with him." Vishal had directed Irrfan in films like 'Maqbool', 'Haider' and '7 Khoon Maaf'.

Irrfan was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday due to a colon infection and died on Wednesday. He was ill for some time and he was suffering from neuroendocrine tumor and he was also being treated for the same. He also went abroad for his treatment and after returning to India, he worked in the film Angrezi Medium.
