Hindu organizations angry over Murshidabad massacre, demand for sacking of Bengal government

Meerut: There is tremendous resentment among the Hindu organizations about the frequent killings of Hindus in West Bengal. On Tuesday, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists protested at the district headquarters, expressing strong resentment over the recent Murshidabad scandal. In a memorandum submitted to the President, activists of Hindu organizations have demanded the immediate sacking of West Bengal's Mamata government.

Activists of Hindu organizations, led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad minister Gopal Sharma, reached the Collectorate on Tuesday. Gopal Sharma put the state's Mamata government in the dock over the killing of RSS worker Bandhu Prakash Pal, his pregnant wife and eight-year-old son on October 10 by Muslim community in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. He has alleged that due to the politics of appeasement of votes, Mamata Banerjee has allowed the Muslim community to openly persecute Hindus.

Gopal Sharma further said that because of this, today Hindu cannot do idol worship in a state of their own country, even during Durga Puja, processions of Hindus are attacked by Muslims. Activists of Hindu organizations have demanded immediate sacking of the Mamata Banerjee government of the state.
