In the Legends of Chase online chess tournament, Indian gradmaster Vishwanathan Anand has lost for the fourth time in a row. Vishwanathan Anand was defeated 3–2 by Anish Giri of Netherlands. The former world champion Indian player and Giri played the first 4 game draws, but the Netherlands player won his name in the Armageddon game (tie break) on Friday.

Although Anand scored his first point of the tournament for a prize money of $ 15,0000, he remains at the bottom of the points table. Earlier, he had to face the hazards of Magnus Carlson, Peter Swidler and Vladimir Kramnik. At the same time, Anand Magnus has participated in the Carlson Chess Tour for the first time. He played in 82 moves in the opening match of the 'Best of Four' match.

However, Giri earned his name in the decisive game of Armageddon while playing with black pieces and took two points in his account.
