Ranveer Singh's photoshoot sets the internet on fire. While several of his friends and Bollywood celebrities are praising, a section of society criticizes him for going against moral values. Days after the photoshoot, FIR was filed against actor Ranveer Singh over his nude photoshoot on Tuesday filed a complaint claiming the pictures outraged the modesty of women.

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri came in the support of Ranveer Singh and questioned the Fir allegation that if men posting nude photos hurts the sentiments of women then there are so many nude women posting the same type of post is it doesn’t affect the sentiments of men.  The director in an interview said, "It is a very stupid FIR. This is such an amusing case that is getting the attention without any reason. It is written in the FIR that the sentiment of women is being hurt. Now tell me, when there are so many nude pictures of women, does it hurt the sentiments of men? This is such a stupid argument. The human body has always been appreciated in our culture. I would say that the human body is the most beautiful creation of God. What's wrong with that? I do not like such things. It shows very conservative thinking which I do not support."

On Tuesday a police complaint has been filed against Ranveer Singh over Hurting the modesty of women, police in Chembur registered a case against Ranveer under section 292 (dealing with obscene materials falls within this exception thereby addressing the issue of public decency and morality), 293 (obscene objects to young person) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) including 67 (A) of the Information Technology Act.
