Talking about the event, producer of the movie Vivek Agnihotri said, “We performed 'Sounds of the Kashmir Files' and we also narrated two stories of victims by Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi with a huge symphonic orchestra. . There was not even an eye in that packed theatre, which was not flowing with tears. Even the staff of the auditorium standing nearby, on hearing this, wept, but could not see. This shows that everyone is involved with the pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters."
He has said that, “The Kashmir Files was not just a movie for us, it is our mission to bring the stories of Kashmir genocide to the people in all the art forms. We have used this kind of musical theater as an experiment for the first time in India and we are going to take it further with many other variations but we will not sit till we can tell the full story of Kashmir. " Reports say that the movie directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri featured stars like Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi and Chinmay Mandlekar in important roles.
