New Delhi: Corona virus cases are increasing rapidly in the national capital Delhi. Meanwhile, in the past, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has held meetings with the state government and officials continuously. The VK Paul Committee formed by the Center has instructed the government that private hospitals should reduce the cost of treatment of corona by one third.

The VK Paul Committee has submitted its report to the Union Home Ministry. It said that private hospitals should reduce their rates by one-third. People who are going to private hospitals for treatment of corona virus, have to pay a very high fee. In such a situation, the government had formed this committee to fix a cap, now if the suggestions of the committee are considered, then people can get great relief.

Several other suggestions were also made by the committee, according to which, it is suggested to have 8000-10000 rupees per day for isolation bed, 13000-15000 per day ICU without ventilator, ICU 15000 to 18000 ICU with ventilator. Let us tell you that even before the committee's recommendation, the government reduced the cost of investigation of corona virus in Delhi. Earlier corona test was being done in Delhi for about Rs 4500, whereas now this test will be done for only Rs 2400.
