German Automaker Volkswagen launched its compact sedan Ameo in India, at a starting price of Rs. 5.14 Lakh to Rs. 7.05. At this price, the Volkswagen Ameo is one of the best value for money cars you can buy in India today.

Volkswagen has launched the Ameo only in petrol variant and with the diesel variants will come soon.

Ameo is powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine is a 3-cylinder motor that makes 75PS of peak power and 110Nm of peak torque.

The new Ameo also features several first-in-class features like cruise control and Apple CarPlay.

The Ameo will also come with safety features like ABS and airbags as standard across all variants.

Other first-in-class features include rain sensing wipers, cornering lights and anti-pinch windows both at the front and the rear.
