New Delhi: M Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President, today emphasised the significance of evidence-based policymaking in ensuring that governance responds to changes and disruptions. He also advocated for rethinking and adjusting policies and programmes on a regular basis to meet changing demands and requirements.

The Vice President was speaking with Indian School of Business (ISB) mid-career course attendees at Uprashtrapati Nivas. The meeting was attended by Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, Indian School of Business, Shri DNV Kumara Guru, Director, External Relations, Indian School of Business, senior officials, and ISB Public Policy programme participants.

The Vice President highlighted the country's immense potential and prospects for entrepreneurs and investors, citing World Bank and IMF estimates of the Indian economy's high growth rate. "It is vital that the government and private sector collaborate to achieve the desired change and build a better and stronger India," he said.
