Lucknow: Voting has been done for the assembly elections in the country's largest state UP and the fate of all the candidates has been locked in EVMs. Tomorrow means the counting of votes is to be held on March 10, but even before the counting of votes, SP, BSP and Congress have started raising questions by taking EVMs. Amidst questions on EVMs, there has been a ruckus in Chandauli of eastern UP due to the receipt of VVPAT slips in the open. After getting the VVPAT slips in the open, Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Amit Yadav from Sayedaraja assembly seat of Chandauli district has demanded a probe into the whole episode. Along with this, he has also demanded re-election in Sayedaraja.

The same pictures are from Chandauli in eastern UP, where Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Amit Yadav of Sayedaraja assembly is showing VVPAT slips. Amit Yadav alleges that he had received copies of VVPATs thrown near Amadpur polling booth of Sayedaraja assembly. Amit Yadav also alleges that there were hundreds of slips here.

As soon as this incident came to the fore, the workers of Bahujan Samaj Party got angry. Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Amit Yadav has alleged that among the slips he had received, there are VVPAT slips of many other parties including Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, but there is no VVPAT slip related to BJP. So there seems to be a possibility of error in this. Making the same allegation, Bahujan Samaj Party candidates sat on a dharna along with their supporters. At the same time, the people of the district administration also met Bahujan Samaj Party workers and assured action after investigating the whole matter.
