Rajasthan: Heavy rain alert issued in 6 cities

Monsoon is active in Rajasthan. Due to western disturbance, the rainy season is going on continuously. Normal rains are happening everywhere, but the Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain warnings in half a dozen districts of the state on Thursday. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in some districts of southeastern Rajasthan. The districts of the state in which heavy rain warning has been issued include Banswara, Jhalawar, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Dungarpur and Bhilwara.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the rainy period will continue in the state for the next few days. Apart from heavy rainy cities, 13 districts of the state are expected to receive thunderstorms and light rain on Thursday. These districts include Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Sawaimadhopur, Sirohi and Tonk.

Apart from this, there was slow rainfall in Ajmer, Kota, Barmer, Jodhpur, Churu, Alwar, Pilani and Sikar on Wednesday. Other areas of the state are waiting for rain. The weather remained normal in the rest of the states. Cloudy movement occurred in many areas, but it did not rain. This time in the month of monsoon, there has been no rain in any part of the state including the capital Jaipur. Except Udaipur of Mewar, there has not been a good period of monsoon rain anywhere. The situation is that even in 32 cities in the state, normal rains have not been done yet. Only Churu city has recorded moderately more rain.
