Patna: Assembly elections have come to the fore in Bihar. New parties are being formed. Even more new candidates have started appearing in the field. The number of such candidates is more in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Because the NDA has 39 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Chhedi Paswan from Chaneri and Mohania constituency. His son Ravi Shankar Paswan was a candidate in 2015. If he did not get a ticket from the BJP, he would have joined the Samajwadi Party (SP). The losers rejoined the BJP. He was made a member of the State Working Committee. Earlier, Ravi Shankar Paswan made more than 8 thousand new people members of BJP. However, both the seats of his claim are still occupied by the NDA. 

Son of Union Minister of State Ashwini Kumar Choubey stood for election from Bhagalpur assembly constituency. Defeated by a margin of 11 thousand votes. After which his he remained active in state politics. Ashwini Kumar Chaubey has won the Bhagalpur Assembly elections 5 times.
