The director of Kashmir Files Vivek Agnihotri is back with another brilliant story of The Covid time. The filmmaker has recently announced his next film named as The Vaccine War after the success of The Kashmir Files, which is this year's second-highest-grossing Bollywood film.
The director is receiving praise for the star cast of his film The Vaccine War. As After Nana Patekar now Anupam Kher is all set to feature in the film. The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture featuring him with the clapboard of The Vaccine War. The clapboard mentioned some details about the film shot which is currently in production. Anupam wrote in the caption, “Announcing my 534th film!!! #TheVaccineWar directed by @vivekagnihotri. As soon as it caught the eyes of people they started reacting to it. Anupam's son, actor Sikandar Kher commented, “Good luck.” A fan added, “Excited for this movie... Hope its well researched and not just an over-the-top nationalistic story.” “Anupam ji choosing movies nowadays very nicely,” commented another fan.
Earlier Nana Patekar was seen shooting for the film in Lucknow. Reportedly, Vivek’s wife Pallavi Joshi might also join the cast after impressing the audience with The Kashmir Files. Earlier giving hint about his upcoming film. Vivek wrote, “The _____ War'., “When Covid came, India had nothing to fight. We were blackmailed and left alone to die by the superpowers of medical infra. But our scientists, without resources, fought back like their dharma. We made fastest and the safest vaccine, created an infra every Indian can be proud of.”
Speaking about the film, It is said to focus on India's journey to develop the COVID-19 vaccines amid the outbreak. The film is slated to hit the theatres on the occasion of Independence Day 2023 in 11 languages. It will clash at the box office with John Abraham's upcoming film Tariq, which is touted to be based on a true story.
