Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi are all set for their upcoming film Selfiee.  The film is helmed by Raj Mehta. The duo is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film.  Now Bollywood Khiladi has unveiled the teaser of his upcoming song Main Khiladi Tu Anari from the film Selfiee.

Akshay Kumar took to the Instagram Instagram to share the teaser of the song. He wrote, “Munh se seeti aur haath se taali bajaane ko ho tayyar (are you ready to whistle and clap)? Here’s a teaser of #MainKhiladi. Song drops 1st Feb!!” Akshay  opted for a shimmery green blazer and Emraan Hashmi in a shimmery black jacket. Main Khiladi Tu Anari is the recreation of his hit 90s song Main Khiladi Tu Anari from the film of the same name,  It features Akshay with Saif  Ali Khan. The original was sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Udit Narayan and Anu Malik and also had Johny Lever in the frame. It was written by Maya Govind. Kader Khan had also made a brief appearance in the song from the 1994 film which had Shilpa Shetty in a dual role and Raageshwari as well.

'Selfiee' is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film will also mark Prithviraj Sukumaran and Magic Frames' debut in Hindi cinema production. Selfiee' is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam comedy-drama 'Driving Licence'. The original Malayalam movie was directed by Lal Jr from a script by Sachy. Akshay and Emraan will also be seen having a dance-off on the recreated version of the song 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari'. The original number is from the 1994 film 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' featuring Akshay alongside Saif Ali Khan.
