Eminent filmmaker of Tollywood, Gautam Menon, known as a classic director, is one of the few directors of South Indian cinema who can draw crowds in theaters with his name alone. The filmmaker recently shared an awareness video and contributed to the fight against the coronovirus epidemic.

At the same time, through this video, he has appealed people to stay in their homes. He said that two of his most popular films could not be released yet due to the lock down of South actor Ajith's 'Yorian Arindhal' and Simbu's 'Achham Embedam Madameyada'.

The reasoning behind why GVM is telling fans not to watch movies is that it can be urged to go out and do the same with their loved ones, which would result in disastrous consequences with coronoviruses. Instead, she advises him to watch Surya's 'Vaaranam Aayiram', in which he is using the time to stay home and work and build a SIX-PACKS body after his lover's death. He requested the people at home to read more and help the needy in any way.

Professionally Gautam Menon is at a high position after critical acclaim for his web series 'Queen' and his performances in both the hit films 'Kannum Kannum Kolayyadithal' and 'Trance' were highly appreciated.
