Shah Rukh Khan,  Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham’s Pathaan is one of the most awaited films of the year. Pathaan hit the theatre screen today and it is expected to earn a whopping amount as its advance booking makes it evident.  However, the protests against Pathaan are also started.

Pathaan is facing protests in Bengaluru. VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) supporters took to Bangalore streets with posters that read 'Boycott Pathaan'. In the viral video, protestors gathered outside cinema halls to call for a boycott of the film. A news agency sharing the news wrote, "Karnataka: VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) supporters protest against the release of Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'Pathaan' in Bangalore, burn posters."

Not only in Bengaluru but there is a huge protest in Indore also regarding Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's film Pathan before the screening of Pathan at Sapna Sangeeta Multiplex located in the posh area of Indore.  As per the information, The screening of the show was to take place, when the audience who had booked earlier reached to watch the show, there was a huge ruckus by activists of Hindu organization and Bajrang Dal, after which the operators decided to cancel the show. Yesterday in Pune also the Hindu organization protest against Pathan release.

Pathaan, marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi. The film is releasing in record-breaking 100 countries and will screen in more than 2500 screens overseas alone.
