New Delhi: The country's capital, Delhi, has been again lapped up by dense fog. After the rains, the open sky has intensified the shitalhi. According to the Met department, the cold will still be more severe. Temperature can roll up to 5 degrees. Fog in Delhi on Tuesday morning reduces visibility. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi today recorded a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius. Today's maximum temperature is likely to be 18 °c.

The mercury can roll even further as the chilly winds from the snow-covered western Himalayas move towards the plains. A Met department official has forecast that the mercury may fall to 5 degrees Celsius by January 14. Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius on Monday. Earlier, the minimum temperature was recorded above normal for a few days due to cloudy skies in Delhi under the influence of Western disturbance since January 3.

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 7.8 degrees Celsius on Sunday. On Saturday, it was at 10.8 degrees Celsius, 9.6 degrees Celsius on Friday, and 14.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday, the highest temperature of January in the last four years.
