Relief from the heat and heatwave soon, see what the Meteorological Department said about the rain

New Delhi: At this time, north India is in the grip of a severe heatwave. Many parts of the country, including the capital Delhi, are reeling under the heatwave. The MET department has predicted that now the western disturbance will show an effect in many states and people will get relief from the scorching heat. Rain is also likely to occur in many parts of western Rajasthan and Punjab. There will be cloudy conditions in the capital of Delhi and a dust storm is expected.  

The MET department has informed that the western disturbance in northwest India has started showing its impact. This will provide heat relief in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi. Along with this, there may be rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and adjoining areas. According to the MET department's forecast, winds with a speed of 30 to 40  km are likely to prevail over several parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan on April 12 and 13. Along with this, strong winds are also expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. However, no more rain is predicted here.  

According to the MET department, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in many parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from April 13 to 16. Heavy rain is also likely to occur in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. According to the MET department, rain and hailstorm are expected in eight districts of Uttarakhand on April 13 and 14. At the same time, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Pauri, Dehradun, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh are likely to receive rain.
