Jammu: The increasing cold is not taking the name of freezing anymore. Every day the temperature is falling, whereas due to western disturbances in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, the weather patterns are expected to worsen again from 5 to 7 March 2020. Meteorological Center Srinagar has issued warnings of heavy rain and snowfall in many areas during this period. Light rains are expected to begin in Kashmir from March 5 morning, which may continue for the next two days. Wednesday will be cloudy in many parts.
Meteorological department alert, possibility of rain in Madhya Pradesh
According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Poonch, Rajouri, Banihal, Batot and Bhadarwah in Jammu and Kashmir, there may be heavy rain and snowfall in Kashmir's Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Baramulla, Kupwara and Drass subdivisions of Ladakh. Winds can run at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in many parts of Jammu division and Kashmir.

Heavy waterlogging may occur in many low-lying areas. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the temperature rose due to clear weather. In Jammu, the day temperature was 25.7 and the minimum temperature was 11.9 degrees Celsius. The day temperature at Katra, the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, was recorded at 23.9 and a minimum of 11.0 degrees Celsius. Summer capital Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 19.1 degrees Celsius.
