New Delhi: The impact of low pressure over the Bay of Bengal is now visible in many states. According to the MET department, after looking at the situation, it is estimated that the following pressure will soon turn into a pressurised area and many states will receive the highest rainfall. According to the MET department, maximum rainfall is expected in Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas in the next few days. Chennai has witnessed a decline in rainfall in many areas over the past several days, but areas like Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu and Karaikal in the Union Territory of Puducherry received heavy to very heavy rainfall.
According to a report received from the MET department, a trough line extends from the Tamil Nadu coast to the South-West Bay of Bengal. The impact is now visible in the weather. As per the weather forecast, light to moderate rainfall may occur in some parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, isolated parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands within the next 24 hours.
Delhi and the National Capital Region have been concealed by the first dense fog of the weather and is expected to last for two days. The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) reported that the weather fog in Delhi is dense, but the average daily contribution of stubble burning smoke from mid-October to November 8 has been the lowest in the last four years. Anumita Roy Choudhary, Executive Director of Research at CSE, said, "Obviously, the combined effect of adverse weather conditions (cold and calm winds), burning of stubble and firecrackers has caused a haze in the weather.''
