New Delhi: Heavy rain has been lashed parts of some parts of Delhi since early Sunday morning. The monsoon season is visible in all the States. The India Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thundershowers in Delhi and NCR this Sunday morning. A red alert of heavy rain has also been sounded for several parts of north and central India for the next 4 days.

In fact, the MET department has launched Delhi, NCR-Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhaprola, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida Panipat, Gohana, Gannaur, Sonepat, Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhel, Jhajjar, Kosli, Farrukhnagar, Bawal, Rewari, Noon, Sohana, Hodal, Aurangabad, Palwal (Haryana) Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Baraut, Baghpat, Najibabad, Bijnor, Hastinapur, Khatoli, Sakoti Tanda, Meerut, Modinagar, Rampur Rain is likely to occur in Moradabad, Bilari, Sambhal, Amroha, Garhmukteshwar, Siana, Hapur, Pilakua, Bahajoi, Anupshahr, Jehangirabad, Shikarpur, Bulandshahr, Gulati, Khurja, Barsana, Nandgaon (UP) as well as adjoining areas during the next 2 hours.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh from 31st July to 1st August and the eastern part of Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh on 31st July due to low-pressure area and one monsoon flow.'' On the other hand, the IMD says, "Heavy rain is expected at some places in the eastern part of Rajasthan and the western part of Madhya Pradesh from July 31 to August 4. While the rain will intensify further from July 31 to August 3.''

On the other hand, heavy rain may occur at isolated places in the eastern part of Rajasthan and the western part of Madhya Pradesh between July 31-August 2.
