New Delhi: The heat wave has once again started wreaking havoc in Delhi and now everyone here is facing the heat. On Friday, the mercury crossed 45 degrees Celsius in many places. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has now predicted that the weather conditions here will worsen in the coming days. In fact, a 'Yellow Alert' has been issued a warning of a heat wave at different places in the capital for today i.e. Saturday. According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman And Nicobar islands and south Karnataka are likely to receive heavy rainfall at some places with light to moderate rainfall. In such a situation, it has arrived in the States of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. According to a report, heavy to very heavy rain accompanied by light to moderate rain is also very likely over Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and South Karnataka during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain is very likely over parts of rest of northeast India, Kerala, Lakshadweep, north-east Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir. Talking about the beaches, light rain is expected in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Konkan and Goa.
