The same, according to the Meteorological Department, western disturbances will be active in the Western Himalayan region on January 11, due to which some areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh may receive rain on January 12 and 13.

Not only this, rain is also possible in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Kerala. Apart from these areas, there may be rains in Andhra Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka.

Apart from this, the All India Bulletin of the Meteorological Department has said that cold wave can also be seen in the main areas of Haryana and Punjab. Not only this, in some areas of Western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, fog can also increase the problems of people for the next two days. Minimum temperatures may fall further in parts of Northwest and Central India. Cold wave may begin in some cities of North Rajasthan while cold conditions are expected at one or two places in Punjab and Haryana. During the last 24 hours, heavy snowfall was recorded over most parts of the Western Himalayas. Shimla in Himachal Pradesh has recorded 20 cm of snowfall.
