Rain creates crisis in Uttarakhand, landslides block many routes

Dehradun: Rainy season continues in the country's state of Uttarakhand. Landslides have increased the problems even more. Rishikesh-Gangotri National Highway is blocked near Nagani. Around five large numbers of boulders fell on the highway on Sunday evening. Currently, the work of removing the boulder is going on.

Yamunotri Highway is also blocked from the arrival of boulder and debris near Rana Chatti. Due to rain, debris and boulders are coming again and again on the highway. On the other hand, after overnight rains in Chamoli city, Badrinath highway has been blocked in the area due to debris on Monday morning. Along with this, the Ghat-Nandprayag road is also blocked at a distance of about three kilometers from Nandprayag. Gopeshwar-Mandal-Ukhimath and Gopeshwar-Pokhari road are also blocked from place to place. Due to this, villagers and travelers going to Badrinath Dham are facing many problems.

Along with this, life in the Queen of Mussoorie Mussoorie has also been disrupted due to continuous rains. The road has been damaged due to landslide near the water bank at Kolu farm on Mussoorie Dehradun road. Due to which people are facing a lot of problem in traffic. DM Ashish Srivastava also visited and inspected the occasion, and has given instructions to repair the road soon. Mussoorie-Dehradun road, Mussoorie-Camptee road, Mussoorie-Tehri road, movement is full of distress due to debris at many places. Many problems are being caused by blocking the same route.
