Kolkata: Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty, who had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the past, has recently given a statement. Indeed, he says, "The heavy turnout in the first phase of the elections to be held in the eight phases of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly indicates that the change here is imminent". Mithun Daa did a roadshow in Bankura and during this time he said, "It is clear from the first phase of voting that 'change' is imminent." Along with this, he also appealed to the people to continue supporting the BJP. 

He said in his address that "The party will change their pathetic condition". At the same time, Mithun also said, "Citing democracy, don't beg for your rights, go and snatch them". Mithun told everyone that this month at the Brigade Parade ground in Kolkata during the rally, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he had taken the membership of BJP. In fact, since he joined BJP, he is in discussions. However, he started campaigning for BJP from Saltora in Bankura on Thursday. During that time he said, "I am eager to get the love that I am getting." The BJP has every chance to win''.

At the same time, when Mithun was asked what is the difference between political rallies and theater programs, he said that "one is for entertainment and the other is for the nation. I am not contesting elections".
