Kolkata: In Birbhum in West Bengal, there is once again an explosion at the house of a Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader. The entire house of the TMC leader is shattered like cards because of the blast. Several people, including the TMC leader, were also reported injured in the incident.

According to information, the blast took place in Regunia village of Sahapur area of Birbhum. Recently, on Saturday also, there was an explosion at the house of a panchayat member of the TMC in Birbhum, in which his house was shattered.

A huge explosion took place early Thursday morning at the house of Sheikh Badruja, booth president of Regunia Village, trembling the entire area. TMC leader Badruja's daughter Hatunisa Khatun is said to be the Sahapur Panchayat Pradhan. Her entire house was devastated after a blast on Thursday morning.

The intensity of the blast was so high that the roof of the house flew straight 500 meters away. According to preliminary estimates, the blast occurred due to a bomb inside the house. Local police are investigating whether the blast was caused by a bomb inside the house or that someone had attacked the house from outside.

However, villagers say that the corruption case against the leader was already going on, which led to her removal from the post of booth president and the dispute with another faction of the TMC. The villagers allege that bombs were placed inside the house to attack the same people of the other group, which exploded.
