Kolkata: BJP National Executive member and senior party leader Mukul Roy has once again claimed that more than 100 MLAs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) are in touch with him. However, he has made it clear that the decision to include TMC MLAs in the party will be taken only by the party's top leadership.

Mukul, who returned to West Bengal after getting the BJP's membership in Delhi, was talking to the press at his residence at Garbagepara in North 24 Parganas district. In fact, it was Mukul Roy's hand that former Kolkata Mayor Shobhan Chatterjee has joined the BJP along with his female friend Baisakhi Banerjee. After Shobhan's move to the BJP, the TMC issued a statement saying it is not going to cause any damage to the party. Mukul Roy also questioned this.
