At the same time, Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Pradeep Sarkar won the Kharagpur Sadar Assembly by-election by 20,811 votes.
According to media reports, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress is seen occupying three assembly seats in West Bengal. TMC has won Kaliaganj and Kharagpur Sadar in West Bengal. At the same time, Karimpur is ahead in the seat. Two of these seats are such, the TMC is winning after two decades.
According to the information received, the election fate of 18 candidates is to be decided in the by-elections for Kharagpur Sadar, Kaliaganj and Karimpur. In this election, 75.34 percent of the more than seven lakh voters in West Bengal had cast their votes. There is a triangular fight in the elections in West Bengal. There has been a strong electoral struggle between the Congress-CPI (M), Trinamool and BJP. According to the Election Commission, the voting percentage in the three by-elections in West Bengal was 75.34 percent.
