Kolkata: The Mamta Banerjee government of West Bengal has once again been embroiled in controversies over the number of corona patients. This time the Mamta Banerjee government has reported 572 in the health bulletin number of corona infected in the state, while 931 has been given to the central government. Regarding this, the state governor Jagdeep Ghankhar has questioned the Mamata government. At the same time, the Mamta government has once again been accused of hiding the correct figures.
Questioning this on Saturday (May 2, 2020), Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar alleged that the Mamata government was covering the corona infection statistics and giving different information to the people of the state and the central government. In his two tweets, Governor Dhankhar wrote, CM Mamata Banerjee should stop the campaign to cover the statistics of Corona infection. Share it transparently.
The governor has shared the health bulletin of the state government and the letters written to the central government by tweeting. According to the charges of the Governor, the Mamata government has released Health Bulletin 572, the number of Corona patients till April 30, while the letter sent by the Health Secretary to the Central Government on the same day cites the number of Corona cases within the state at 931. In the letter shared by Governor Jagdeep Ghankhar, you can see that in the Health Bulletin, the Government of Bengal is claiming that there are 572 Corona positive cases till April 30 in the state. At the same time, in the letter written to the central government in the tweet, you can see that the health of West Bengal has told the central government the number of corona cases in the state till April 30 is 931.
Give up ‘ Covid-19 data cover up operation’ @MamataOfficial and share it transparently.
