Bengal Veteran Hindutva leader Tapan Ghosh dies of corona

Kolkata: Tapan Ghosh, leader of the right-wing organization Hindu Samhati, died on Sunday evening due to coronavirus infection. Tapan Ghosh was found corona infected and was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata where he died. Senior BJP leader Swapan Dasgupta has tweeted that Tapan Ghosh has died on Sunday evening.

In this  'Tapan Ghosh was fully devoted to Hindu unity and organization in West Bengal. He devoted his entire life to an issue and inspired thousands of people by his work and set an example for others. He will always be remembered and will continue to inspire us for a long time to come. Om Shanti.'

According to Tapan Ghosh's colleagues, he was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata city after being found corona infected. He left two daughters behind him. Tapan Ghosh was also an RSS Promoter since 1975, later, he quit RSS due to differences with the ideology of the organization. He then formed the Hindu Samahti Organization in the year 2008 and left in 2018.
