Farmers protest: 'Either withdraw the law or leave the power' says Mamta Banerjee

New Delhi: Farmers' protests against the new agricultural laws have reached its 12th day today. This movement is also getting a lot of support from the opposition parties. In this series, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has targeted the Modi government at the Center regarding the agriculture bill. He said that the government should withdraw the agricultural law or get out of power. He said this while addressing a rally in West Midnapore.

CM Mamata Banerjee has said, 'no matter how we work, our policies are always said to be bad. The Rafale fighter jet scam was not bad, the PM CARES fund which does not provide information about it, is not bad for the BJP, but they want to account for the damage caused by the Amphan cyclone in Bengal. There are constant talks between the government and farmer organizations regarding agrarian reform laws. Actually, till now the two sides have met about five times, but so far no solution has been revealed. Recently, farmers' organizations have announced a Bharat Bandh on December 8.

Farmers are demanding to withdraw all the three agricultural laws till now, but in the meantime the government has also stated in clear terms that the agricultural laws will not be withdrawn, but if necessary, the government Can consider the amendment according to the demands of the farmers.
