Kolkata: The ongoing tussle between the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the BJP in West Bengal is deepening day by day. The Mamata government, which has been at loggerheads with the central government since the time of the assembly elections, has now gone a step further. In fact, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew and TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee has been summoned by the ED to Delhi in connection with the coal scam case, now the officials who are investigating the case have been summoned by the Kolkata Police.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and his wife Rujira Banerjee to Delhi on March 21 and 22 in connection with the coal scam case. Along with this, the ED has also summoned West Bengal Minister Moloy Ghatak in connection with the coal scam case, while the CBI has summoned TMC's Birbhum district chief Anubrata Mondal for questioning. On the issue of calling Abhishek Banerjee to Delhi, the TMC has said that the BJP government sitting at the Centre is taking revenge for losing the elections to the state government.

The TMC says the Modi government is misusing central agencies. Now it is reported that Abhishek Banerjee has reached Delhi for this interrogation. In the meantime, the Mamata government has now started surrounding the ED for calling her nephew. According to the information received, Kalighat police have summoned three ed officials. These officials are investigating the coal scam and cattle smuggling cases. They were called on Monday. Action has been taken against them under Section 160.
