Kolkata: Political mercury has started to rise before next year's assembly elections in West Bengal. The Trinamool Congress has now demanded that state Governor Jagdeep Dhankad be removed from the post. It has been alleged that the Governor is continuously violating the constitution. Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee said that the police is being threatened and violating rules on behalf of the Governor. He is tweeting all day, as Governors are not working.

The TMC MP said that we request Kolkata Police to start prosecution against the Governor. President Ramnath Kovind is also requested to interfere, he should be removed from his post. It is noteworthy that many times questions have been raised by Governor Jagdeep Dhankad on Twitter through Twitter. Governor Dhankhar has questioned and attacked the state's law and order situation in Corona crisis. Many times, Governor has also sent summons to the police officers, which is the reason why the process of counter-attack continues in the Mamata government and the Governor's House.

Recently the Governor came to New Delhi and met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed the law and order of the state. There is a continuous allegation from the TMC that the Governor is acting as the spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, in which case he does not have the right to remain in the chair.
