Sharmila Tagore also praised Kiran Rao's "Laapata Ladies." She said, "This low-budget film is a hit in itself. It is a very beautiful film." "Laapata Ladies" was produced by Aamir Khan's production house, and Kiran Rao introduced new faces in the film, which were well-received by the audience.
