New Delhi: The highest run-scorer in IPL history, Virat Kohli has indicated to return to form in IPL 2022 by hitting a brilliant fifty against Gujarat Titans. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Kohli played a blistering innings of 73 runs in 54 balls against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Thursday with the help of eight fours and two sixes. Bangalore beat Gujarat by eight wickets on the strength of his brilliant innings to keep their hopes of reaching the playoffs alive.
Kohli could not do this as a captain, but as a batsman his dream can come true and his confidence has increased after scoring a half-century against GT. Kohli realized even before the match that he was going to play a big innings in this match. Even before the match against Gujarat, he said that he wants to win the T20 World Cup to be held in October-November this year.
Talking to 'Star Sports' before the match, Kohli has said that, 'I know that when runs start scoring, I will be motivated. I want to win the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup for India and that is my motivation. I have to keep moving to keep the balance. I will take some rest and refresh myself. Once my concentration comes, I will not look back. Now my main target is for India to win the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup and I am ready to do anything for the team.
