Moscow: Amid the ongoing war against Ukraine, Russia has made a big statement referring to India. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday (December 1) that the US is trying to include India in NATO so that Russia and China can be surrounded. Sergei Lavrov said that it is the effort of Western countries to surround Russia in any way. The minister, who is close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, said the US was deliberately fanning a dispute in the South China Sea as well. It is his effort to lay siege to local forces through it. The US is doing this especially to surround China and Russia.  

According to the report, during this time Lavrov also defended the missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. He said that we are doing these attacks so that the weapons being sent to Ukraine from the Western countries can be stopped, which they are sending to harm Russia. He further said that the US is deliberately creating tension in the surrounding areas of China as well so that Russia can be surrounded. He said that NATO countries are now adopting the same strategy in the South China Sea, which was started to provoke Ukraine. He said that NATO is playing with fire in these areas. He said that the attitude of America and NATO in Taiwan and Taiwan Strait is provocative.

According to the report, Lavrov further said that this is why we are conducting war exercises with China. The Russian Foreign Minister said that NATO countries are trying to create explosive conditions. Referring to the AUKUS organization formed by merging Australia, America and Britain, he said that it also has the same objective. Not only this, he said that NATO wants to include India in the anti-Russia and anti-China alliance. It is their endeavor to completely eliminate Russia's influence. Lavrov said that through interference in Ukraine, the US has created an existential crisis in front of Russia.
