New Delhi: Whatsapp CEO Chris Daniels meet Union Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on hot issues like mob lynching, revenge porn and later urged that WhatsApp must have a grievance officer in India.

According to Ravi Shankar Prasad, There are also very sinister developments, that provoke crime like mob lynching, revenge porn, and demanded the world’s most liked messenger app that It must find solutions to these challenges which are the downright criminal violation of Indian laws.

 He suggested 3 points.

1- WhatsApp must have a grievance officer in India, RS Prasad demanded.

2- WhatsApp authorities must have a proper compliance with Indian laws. As RS Prasad said that India won't appreciate a scenario where any problem will have to be answered in America.
3 -WhatsApp has become an important component of India's digital storage and must have a proper corporate entity located in India.

Union IT Minister RS Prasad after meeting Whatsapp CEO Chris Daniels said that he had a very productive meeting.

He added that India complimented Whatsapp for extraordinary technological awakening. He counted special deeds to aware the local people where WhatsApp has led in the country, for education, healthcare, relief in Kerala. These positive developments admired by India.
