USA: Imagine being able to lock your WhatsApp conversations so that only you could access them. You might soon be able to do that with the app. On the beta channel, this option has been noticed during testing. The Meta-owned app is also developing a Community navigation bar and a privacy checkup option, among other intriguing Android features.
Locking chats on WhatsApp is a highly requested feature. It is nearly impossible for anyone else to eavesdrop on your conversations because the locked conversations can only be accessed using the user's fingerprint or passcode. There will be a "Chat lock" option added to the contact information section.Once enabled, the app's chat will have a new tab called "Locked chats" available.
According to WABetaInfo, media files from locked chats won't be saved to your gallery for increased privacy. The app will prompt someone to clear the conversation in order to access your phone if they attempt to do so without providing the required authentication.

You can view the sub-groups within a Community directly from the chat list itself using WhatsApp's community navigation feature, making it simple to move between the groups.
The chat list now groups together all of the sub-groups that make up a Community, making it much easier for you to find the specific group you're looking for.
With the privacy checkup feature, you can review all of your privacy settings in one place. It will be available from the app's privacy section. Among other options, you can decide who can contact you, manage your personal information, including who can view your profile picture and 'About' information, and control the visibility of your online status.

You might eventually be able to send a message straight from the WhatsApp call notification alert in the future. Along with "decline" and "answer" buttons, the WhatsApp call notification banner will also include a "reply" option. If you select "reply," the incoming call will be dropped and a message box will appear so you can send the caller a brief message.
You might be able to share status updates directly to Facebook from WhatsApp without having to leave the programme. Be aware that you can currently share status updates to Facebook. To do this, upload the status to WhatsApp first, after which you can share it with other apps, such as Facebook. The new option is easier, though.
According to WABetaInfo, a new toggle option called "Always share to Facebook story" will be available in the app's settings section.Every time you update your status on WhatsApp after activating this feature, a Facebook Story will also be automatically shared with your friends. You always have control over who sees your status.
