Lucknow: There seems to be a rift in the family of Mulayam Singh Yadav once again. The distance between Shivpal Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav has increased. There is speculation of Shivpal Yadav, who became MLA from Jaswant Nagar seat on Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket, joining BJP. While Shivpal Yadav himself has spoken of disclosing the next step when the right time comes, Akhilesh Yadav has kept silence. Meanwhile, when Akhilesh was asked a question about Chacha Shivpal, the SP chief got furious and said that this is a time-wasting question.

Actually, Akhilesh Yadav was in Kannauj on Thursday. While talking to the press here, he targeted the BJP fiercely. The saffron party has been termed as the serial killer of democracy. During this, when he was asked a question about Shivpal Yadav, his displeasure came to the fore. Akhilesh Yadav said that you should not waste time by asking questions for those things. It is noteworthy that Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PSP) chief and uncle Shivpal Yadav, who left the SP before the 2017 assembly elections and formed a separate party, was persuaded by nephew Akhilesh before the 2022 assembly elections.

At the behest of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Shivpal also agreed to accompany Akhilesh. But he was dissatisfied with getting only one seat. It is being told that after registering victory on the SP ticket, Shivpal Yadav again demanded important responsibility in the SP organization, which Akhilesh rejected.
